2. Learn the conjugation of the verb "avoir" on page 39 which you can also find here.​ 

3. Learn the conjugation of the verb "être" on page 24. 

4. Translate the following sentences from English to French. In some of the sentences you will have to use the expression "il y a":

1. We are in France on vacation.​
2. The kids are not in the room.
3. I am the friend of Miss Dubois.
4. Why are you not in the class room?
5. Where are the books?
6. There are no books on the desk.
7. There is no home work for next week.
8. Is there a bathroom in the room?
9. Is there a door between the two rooms?
10. There are no trains for Paris tonight.
11. Is there an airport in the town?
12. Is there a party today at the main square of the town?
13. No, there is no party but there is the market on Wednesdays and on Saturdays.
