Please complete exercises on the new handout (you can find it below) to further practice the conjugation of -er verbs. Review the possessive adjectives on page 45 in chapter 2 or in more detail here. Finally, please translate the following sentences from English to French paying attention to the conjugation of the verb "avoir" and the expression "il y a". You might find the bad English sometimes helpful to translate into French ;-)

Please read "Due amici differenti" and complete exercises on page 2 of the "Pinocchio" handout. Also, read "La stanza di Lucia", "All'albergo", and "Ha una camera" on the new handouts. You don't have to do any of the exercises on these handouts yet.

Please complete exercise 1 on page 38 and exercises 5, 7, 8 and 9 on pages 40-42. You can learn more about how to conjugate regular -er ending verbs here. Don't forget to read both pages of the new handout.

Homework for July 14

Please complete exercises 3, 4 and 5 on the "Roma" handout and keep studying the vocabulary on the "Pinocchio" sheet. Be ready to use the adjectives next class. To read more about how Italian adjectives work in context you can read this article. Make sure you read both pages!

Homework for July 18

On the "pages 25 - 77" handout please complete "Activité, A Canal 7" on page 43, and exercise B on page 45. In class we have already completed activities A and B on page 49 and activities A and B on pages 53 and 54. With this we reviewed the verb être, the -er verbs and the adjectives.

On the "cahier pages 18 - 79" please start with exercise A in the middle of page 18, do exercise B and read the paragraph on page 19. Do the same on page 36. These exercises are based on a film that we started to watch. Those of you who missed class and didn't see the movie episodes will have to do some guesswork or skip some questions. No problem! You will catch up in no time.

Please study the vocabulary on pages 34 and 36 and the conjugation of the verb "avoir" on page 39 in Chapter 2.
